The flight path to self-acceptance

With the world at my feet, as a cabin attendant I have seen many hotel rooms.

For over a year now each room has become the backdrop for a self-portrait.

The unsettling feeling that I experience here, far from home, resembles the loneliness ‎that I recognise from my youth.

To flee the reality, where being gay is not always accepted,

A journey that I do not undertake alone. I am accompanied by like-minded young men.
